This adaptation of Kate Mosse's best-selling novel chronicles the lives of two women separated by centuries. In the year 1209 in Carcassonne, France, Alais is given a mysterious book that is said to hold the secret of the Holy Grail. While Alais doesn't understand the labyrinth symbols and unusual words in the books, she knows she must keep its secrets safe. Eight centuries later Alice, a young volunteer at an archaeological dig, finds two skeletons in a forgotten cave and a labyrinth symbol carved in a rock that reveals a link to the past.
