This 5th season brings the colours into the show. Steed is still the audacious man-about-town (outwardly a fop, in reality an iron glove). As colourfully quirky as ever, he continues to defeat villains with his furled umbrella and steel-lined bowler hat. Emma peel in her well fitted, skin-tight suit, attacks her opponents with a variety of spectacular techniques. She is using kung-fu to vanquish the baddies with a twist of her dainty wrist. The avengers pack a punch of stories filled with thrills and tongue-in-cheek humour.
