The Descent: Part 2 (2009) is a tense and brutal horror sequel directed by Jon Harris. Picking up immediately after the events of The Descent (2005), the film follows Sarah Carter (Shauna Macdonald), the sole survivor of a terrifying cave expedition gone wrong. Traumatized and suffering from memory loss, Sarah is forced to return to the underground labyrinth with a rescue team to locate her missing friends. As they navigate the claustrophobic tunnels, they soon realize that the nightmarish, flesh-eating creatures are still lurking in the darkness.
