Fleetwood Mac's fifteenth album, Mirage, was released in June 1982 and saw the band deviate from the experimental direction of their previous album,Tusk, in favour of familiar ground. The album boasted straightforward pop songcraft with numerous notable hit singles such as, Hold Me (# 4), Love In Store (# 22) and Gypsy (# 12). The album shot immediately to number one in the US and peaked at number 5 in the UK charts.To mark the release of the new album, Fleetwood Mac set out upon a short tour of the U.S.A. The tour started off in Atlanta in early September and finished at the end of October in Austin, Texas.
