GoldenEye is a 1995 action film and the seventeenth entry in the James Bond series. The film follows James Bond, played by Pierce Brosnan, as he attempts to stop a rogue former MI6 agent, Alec Trevelyan, played by Sean Bean, from using a powerful satellite weapon known as GoldenEye to wreak havoc on London.
With the help of a beautiful Russian computer programmer, Natalya Simonova, played by Izabella Scorupco, Bond must navigate a treacherous web of international intrigue, betrayal, and danger to stop Trevelyan before it's too late.
Directed by Martin Campbell, GoldenEye features thrilling action sequences, stunning cinematography, and a memorable score by composer Eric Serra. In addition to Brosnan, Bean, and Scorupco, the film also stars Judi Dench as M, the head of MI6, and Famke Janssen as the lethal and seductive villainess Xenia Onatopp.
