Night at the Museum (2006): Larry Daley (Ben Stiller), a down-on-his-luck divorced father, takes a job as a night watchman at the American Museum of Natural History. He soon discovers that the exhibits come to life after dark, including historical figures, animals, and dioramas. Chaos ensues as Larry tries to manage the magical phenomenon and protect the museum, all while bonding with his son, Nick.

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian (2009): In the sequel, Larry must travel to Washington, D.C., to save his museum friends who have been transferred to the Smithsonian Institution. There, he encounters even more historical figures and artifacts that come to life, including the villainous Pharaoh Kahmunrah (Hank Azaria), while teaming up with Amelia Earhart (Amy Adams) to stop Kahmunrah's plan to take over the world.
