Panic Room (DVD)

Directed by David Fincher, Panic Room is a tense home invasion thriller starring Jodie Foster as Meg Altman, who, along with her daughter Sarah (Kristen Stewart), takes refuge in a high-tech "panic room" of their new home after burglars break in. As the intruders, led by Raoul (Dwight Yoakam), try to gain access to a hidden stash of money, Meg must use all her wits to protect herself and her daughter. Fincher’s signature suspense, tight pacing, and clever camera work make this a gripping and claustrophobic thriller.
