A Philosophical Adventure... with Explosions!
This adventure is for four or five characters of 4th and 5th level using the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game rules and assuming that the PCs are passing through or near some mountains. The adventure involves visiting a remote dwarven settlement in the Ironcrag Mountains of the Midgard Campaign Setting, but this isolated settlement can be dropped into most other fantasy campaigns with little or no modification.
Pathfinder arose as a response to the upcoming 4th edition of Dungeons and Dragons (D&D), aimed at preserving the beloved mechanics of D&D 3.5.
