Behind the Wall (Inside The Minds of Pink Floyd) tells the story of one of rock cultures most fundamental groups of all time. Their psychedelic beginnings, when the enigmatic Syd Barrett led the group, are narrated with interviews from the members of the quartet, to their artistic producers, managers, journalists and close friends. Also included are images of the band playing in those years of space and climatic sounds. The history advances to the album The Dark Side of The Moon, which placed them in the sales rankings for years, and also pauses in the The Wall which was transformed into a monumental spectacle. The story continues with the film by Alan Parker, filmed in 1982, and transitions to the last years of the group when the line-up is led by guitarist David Gilmour and without the presence of Roger Waters (primarily responsible for the Wall). With the sad and unexpected death of keyboardist Richard Wright on September 15th 2008 from cancer, thus closes a crucial chapter in music history.
