"Sarah's Key" is a 2010 historical drama film directed by Gilles Paquet-Brenner, based on Tatiana de Rosnay's novel of the same name. The story revolves around an American journalist named Julia Jarmond, played by Kristin Scott Thomas, who is living in Paris and working on a magazine article about the Vel' d'Hiv Roundup of Jews in 1942. As she investigates the event, she discovers a connection between her own family and the roundup, including a young girl named Sarah, played by Mélusine Mayance, who was one of the victims. Julia becomes determined to uncover the truth about Sarah's fate, leading her on a journey of self-discovery and reconciliation. Other notable actors in the film include Niels Arestrup, Frédéric Pierrot, and Aidan Quinn.
