Source Code (2011) is a mind-bending sci-fi thriller directed by Duncan Jones, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Michelle Monaghan, and Vera Farmiga. The film follows Captain Colter Stevens (Gyllenhaal), a soldier who wakes up in the body of another man aboard a Chicago commuter train moments before it explodes. Tasked with reliving the final eight minutes repeatedly through an experimental government program, he must identify the bomber before another attack occurs. As he navigates the looping reality, he begins to question the true nature of his mission and his own existence.
