Second Year High School Student Makoto Konno accidentally breaks a walnut that had fallen in the science lab, which triggers a Time Leap, the ability to jump through time and return to the past. She immediately decides to test out her new power by going back to the past to eat the pudding that her sister had eaten. Now accepting of her new found powers Makoto decides that she is going to live out her ideal life. Makoto, along with her best guy friends Chiaki Mamiya and Kousuke Tsuda, go to karaoke and sing until their throats are sore and play baseball over and over again. She was living everyday to her fullest without a care in the world. No matter what happens she can always use her Time Leap to fix any problems occur. Those days were supposed to last forever. That is until Chiaki asks her to go out with him. Time waits for no one.
