"Trance" is a psychological thriller directed by Danny Boyle. The film follows the story of Simon (James McAvoy), an auctioneer who teams up with a gang to steal a valuable painting. However, after suffering a head injury during the heist, Simon develops amnesia and forgets where he hid the painting. As the gang's leader, Franck (Vincent Cassel), resorts to increasingly violent tactics to retrieve the painting, Simon turns to a hypnotherapist named Elizabeth (Rosario Dawson) to try and recover his lost memories. The film is a fast-paced, twisty thriller that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats.
